MAX3 Sprintcar Filter History:

The development base for the Sprintcar Filter is Kerry
Brocas' 410 cubic inch
Powered Eagle which gave us a true time insight for the requirements of engine protection
and performance. From the original Multi-dome element we've grown to a large Box
Style Filter that sits snuggly on an aluminum base plate sealed with Closed Cell
High Memory foam.
As Kerry said after 2 meetings on dusty slick tracks without cleaning the filter: "I have never seen my engine so clean. There is no dust inside the airbox or the ram tubes. This is perfect!" |
MAX3 Midget Air Filter History:
| The Midget Filter has been developed in conjunction with the Buckley Systems
/ Aggressor Chassis Team, and proven very successful. The engine protection is at
it's maximum, without any negative effect on performance. The big bonus is the
Ultra-Light Weight Assembly at a mere 1.2kg (2.64 lbs) dry-weight!
Again after the first meeting the Filter was removed and the insides inspected. There were no traces of any dust, the surfaces were absolutely spotless! |

When Carl Hansen looked for a new filter element for his TVR Tuscan, he soon found that nothing standard would fit. The original Filter Element was custom built in the UK and a replacement was overdue. The shape however provided a challenge on the design! |
| In record time (4 days!) a new element was designed, hand-cut and hand-shaped to suit the existing Carbon Fibre Base Plate. The Filter was a perfect fit, Carl was impressed with the workmanship (in Carls' words: "this is a piece of art!"). Even after rigorous use (when other competitors have off-track moments and throw loads of dust and dirt at you) the engine stays spotless past the Air Filter! |  |
